You can get off the www.XYZ.blogspot.com, for a whole year, for only $7.49.  There is no minimum purchase.  In other words, you need only purchase one year to get the discount.

It's really easy to register the domain name of your choice, and the discount is applicable to a .com address.  Unlike a lot of other specials that involve .us, .co, .info, .tv, or other random type domains - this one actually covers the popular .com type.


It's also really easy to transfer your blogspot.com address, so that it redirects to your new .com address.  Google has help pages on it, as does GoDaddy.  You can still use all the blogspot controls, widgets, and control panel too.

    That's a great deal. I use whois.com which is a similar price. Don't forget to read the small print and price in private registration. networksolutions used to charge an extra $5 or $10 a year to go "ex-directory".

    @sucio - good point! The $7.49 doesn't include private registration, but you control what info is listed. Your account info at GoDaddy is kept separate from the whois info. Still, good point, because if you go private, it is additional cost (I think it's $10/yr)

    Thanks for the idea, went ahead with it through Google, the Godaddy link wanted $11 and change, Google made it really easy and was $10/year. All set up, now I just gotta stop being so random with my posting...

    @Sucio - I found a coupon code for FREE PRIVATE REGISTRATION. Use NC3D17 at checkout. Confirmed it's working today.
